Crafternoons

Our first Crafternoon took place on Saturday 19th October and was attended by nine people, some from Forest Green, others from further afield.

Katherine set the challenge of making a fabric box by sewing together small scraps of leftover fabric. Hard to explain in words and quite tricky to do in practice but everyone did really well, achieving some lovely results. Some completed the task during the afternoon, some finished it at home.  Have a look at the pictures.

Next month’s Crafternoon will be 23rd November 2pm in the Village Hall.

We are making Christmas cards so bring card, and any bits and bobs you think will make a nice design for Christmas eg ribbon, glitter, rubberstamps, ink pads, glue, sticky tape, pretty paper etc,etc the list could be endless! Bring and share materials and ideas - it should be a fun afternoon. Everyone welcome. This one is suitable for supervised children
